- We are a parish of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast in the United States. The history of our parish begins shortly after the American Civil War. Our bishop is The Rt. Rev. Philip M. Duncan, II, The Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast. The bishop is assisted by The Rev. Canon T. Mark Dunnam, Canon to the Ordinary. The parish priest is The Rev. John W. Hicks, Vicar, St. Mary's By-The-Sea. The architect is Mr. Bruce Knodel, AIA, Knodel and Associates Architects.
